THE CLINICIAN EXPERIENCE
Course Description: We will examine the growing pressures on clinicians and the forces reshaping healthcare – from demographic shifts and technology integration to organizational and societal stressors. We will share insight into the clinician experience, highlighting common points of friction and their impact on wellbeing and care delivery.
We will introduce six emerging needs and four design principles that guide the creation of spaces supporting focus, collaboration, safety, and flexibility. Finally, we’ll show real-world applications across key healthcare environments – nurse stations, team huddles, respite spaces, patient spaces, and more – so you leave with actionable strategies and best practices to design spaces that help clinicians thrive.
